很爱这段话

October 1, 2011

I don’t know you, but I know that the remarkable thing about love is it can exist on its own. We’ve all loved someone who didn’t return our love the way we hoped it would be returned. We love our children even when they seem to hate us and tell us so. We love  men who disappoint us and break our hearts. Love is an isolated emotion. It fuels itself. Don’t you think that’s remarkable?

From The Manicurist A Novel by Phyllis Schieber.
